Who am I?
So who the hell am I and why should you listen to me? Well, first of all, it’s up to you read what I write. You might agree and you might disagree. That’s fine.
My name is Jordan and I come from Scotland. I was born in England but moved up North when I was around 4 years old so I don’t remember much of England. In my heart I’m Scottish but I also identify with being English and British.
I spent most of my life growing up in the countryside so to stop myself going insane with boredom during school holidays, I’d learn a new talent each year. Juggling, drawing, card throwing, and whatever cool nerdy skill I could find.
I went to uni to study Videos Games Development, done a 1-year international exchange in Belgium through Erasmus to study Graphics Design, then back to Scotland and changed major to IT. Being in Belgium I learned Dutch, French, and Korean (for my ex). This experience changed me the most and influenced me to become who I am today. You can guess my views on Brexit from this experience alone 😉
I failed my exams during Erasmus so I had to redo 3rd year in Scotland. During this time, I continued learning Korean and hung out more with international students. During the 3rd-year summer holiday, I went to China, South Korea, and Japan cause why the fuck not?
After I graduated in 4th year, I went to South Korea for 3 months then after failing to get my visa to teach in China, I wound up in Taiwan where I’ve lived for the past 2 and a half years. I’ve spent most of my time here learning Chinese, Japanese, and Taiwanese and travelled here and there in Taiwan.
This is a pretty short intro to me as I could expand this a whole bunch more but that’s enough for now. I’ll write more about my life in my posts so if you want to learn more then come back and check it out… or not, it’s up to you really.
